Personality: Twilight Sparkle is very, very studious. She loves her friends to death, and is loyal to Princess Celestia, her mentor. Twilight worries over little things, and can lose her sanity over such things. She's very punctual, and a little self-conscious, especially when the topic is about her friends see her. Twilight is also very organized.
Bio: Twilight, when she was a filly, was always in awe of Celestia, since she saw her raise the sun one Summer Sun Celebration. She practiced and practiced her magic, until it was time to try out for Celestia's Academy for Gifted Unicorns. She had to hatch a dragon egg, but she could barely produce a spark. Deflated, she had said sorry for wasting the unicorns' time, but just then, a huge boom caused a huge magic fallout from her. Not only did Twilight hatch the egg, but she made the baby dragon huge! She turned her parents into potted plants, and levitated all the unicorn teachers at once! Princess Celestia noticed all the commotion, and flew into the tower at once. She saw that a little filly had caused all this, and after calming the magic exploding from her, took Twilight as her protégé. Twilight also got her cutie mark for magic then. From then on, Twilight was even more of a recluse, studying and practicing her magic all the time to please Celestia. Also, Twilight kept the dragon, who was named Spike, as an assistant. Eventually, when Twilight was a grown mare, she saw the signs of Nightmare Moon's return, and Celestia sent her to Ponyville to make friends and oversee the preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration. Originally, Twilight scoffed at the idea, and planned just to oversee the preparation and go back to studying, but ponies sought her out. When Twilight faced Nightmare Moon, she realized she had made friends, and used this to defeat Nightmare. After this, Twilight and her friends, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity had many adventures, including the defeat of Discord and the Queen of the Changelings, Queen Chrysalis.
Likes: Reading and studying, practicing magic, being with her friends, pleasing Celestia, stargazing, having things organized, and having answers.
Dislikes: Being in the dark (Not literally, of course), being interrupted while studying or reading, having to wake up early in the morning, having things in disarray, and displeasing her mentor.
Other: Twilight's nickname is Twi, and her brother calls her Twily.
